Phew! What a busy weekend! We’ve been staying at the in-laws for the past few weeks since Baby A was born and we finally moved back home.
There’s no doubt that it’s been good at my in-laws and they’ve been a great help. I’m sure there’s a few things we’ll miss (no more lie ins!) but at the end of the day home is home. So, this Sunday (March 9th) Baby A finally entered his own home for the first time.
He didn’t want to leave though – he screamed and cried when we put him in the car seat. But as soon as I took him out in the cold he just conked out within seconds! I’ll have to remember that one if I ever have to put him to sleep, the cold obviously has an affect on him.
So we drove home and took him out of the car. I was very excited and had my video camera out – after all, it was his first view of his own home. He wasn’t that interested though. He took one look at his new room, farted and went to sleep.
So much for grand entrances.
