Here are a few things I’ve picked up about changing nappies. All tips are welcome – I need all the help I can get! (Note: Part 1 and 2 are here and here).
1. Preparation is key. Keep all materials ready.
2. Have a change of clothes nearby (for both of you!), in case of “accidents”.
3. Cotton wool and warm water is recommended, but getting it ready is a pain in the butt (so to speak). Wet wipes were designed with blokes in mind.
4. If the baby goes very quiet whilst changing the nappy, be prepared for the worst.
5. (TOP TIP) Get someone else to change the nappy for you.
