This boy is getting very naughty at feeding time! Give him a bottle full of water, it will be gone in 5 minutes. How about some diluted orange juice? Finished in 2 minutes flat. So what about his milk? ……40 minutes later we’re lucky if he’s finished.
There’s clearly something in the milk that he doesn’t like (have you ever read the ingredients list? It’s got fish in it!)…but he has to drink, otherwise he’s going to be a midget for the rest of his life.
We try our best but it’s not uncommon for him to bawl his eyes out (with no tears incidentally – what a faker!) for a good ten minutes, everytime the bottle goes near his lips. He’ll also clench his lips tightly that you have to force the bottle into his mouth. Sometimes it is a real battle with him when it comes to feeding.
He’s got a new trick now – he’s started covering his mouth with his hand! I want my kid to be smart…but not THAT smart….
