When Baby A starts getting moody, he can cry for England. Boy, can he cry. I’m sure we’re not the only ones to experience this, but why do babies have to cry so much? I can’t wait it when he talks – at least he can tell what’s wrong then.
We have discovered one way of shutting him up putting him to sleep – he loves his car journeys! Put him in the car and more often than not he’s out like a light.
We caught on this literally on his first journey on the way back from hospital and it has continued so far. It’s probably not the most practical of solutions though – we can’t exactly jump into the car every time we need to put him to sleep now, can we?
Having said that, we know someone who used to do just that. He would literally take his daughter for a drive in the middle of the night just to make sure she actually dozed off!
Actually, I laugh about it now, but for all I know I may end up doing exactly the same thing…..
