I hate injections. I don’t have a problem with needles myself…I just really hate it when my son has to have injections. Never fun to watch…especially the change in his expression when it happens. Yesterday was his third set of vaccinations – and there were three of them in total. He’s usually not too bad afterwards, but yesterday was…different.
After the injections he is always a bit miserable, but he was crying and whimpering all day today. I went to work and unfortunately had to leave Mummy A to it. I got home to find him feeling poorly and with a temperature. He was really crying, but it was a “I feel terrible” type crying rather than a “I’m in pain” cry. It almost makes me feel bad about his crying habits. Almost.
His next injection is around his first birthday, so at least we get a little respite. Do they really need this many?
