A few weeks ago I mentioned that we had been trying to establish a new routine on the back of our visit to the hospital.
Well I’m glad to say things have improved and he is drinking his milk with a bit more regularity.
The visit to the hospital made us realise a few things which helped:
- We may have been trying to feed him more than he actually wanted (those powder milk bottles make you think the baby needs loads!).
- He seems to prefer milk which has been prepared and then left to stand for about a half hour at room temperature. Yeah, I know….weird.
- We should only feed him on demand, not to a set routine.
Things aren’t perfect by any means (this is little mister Ayaan after all…), but at least he’s drinking his milk a lot better now. Less fighting with him….although irritatingly for Mummy A he still only wants to feed with her…..
