Mummy A has moved on to feeding him pureed carrots and potatoes now. Nice. He seems to prefer the potato more (sounds like chips galore in future…), although obviously he doesn’t eat a great deal. Not a great carrot fan, and the “your eyesight will be good!” argument doesn’t work just yet…
One side effect of eating more solids now is that Baby A has become rather…..constipated. Yep, that’s right, another poo related story I’m afraid.
I really feel for the little guy. Just when he seems to have found something he actually likes to eat, there are still consequences. He really has to strain to push the load out – sorry for the detail but it is quite comical to see (for us anyway), especially with the grunting noises he makes. The other day he strained so hard that he turned bright red and suffered a coughing fit.
Actually, one weird thing is that he now keeps making the same sounds when he gets angry – so we end up checking his nappy several times….just in case he has done a poo.
Speaking of poo, it’s actually much easier to clean like this. It tends to be less liquid, so it’s no where near as messy. I always like to look for the silver lining….
