Left-right-left-right

Left foot....

Left foot....

Baby A is getting pretty active nowadays. nope, hasn’t started crawling yet (he can’t quite seem to get his feet and hands to work in coordination), but he loves kicking his feet about. Put him on the floor, in the pushchair, or in his car seat, and he goes crazy.
Right foot....

Right foot....

Left kick, right kick, left kick, right kick – he moves pretty fast! Where are you trying to run to, boy?

And....

And....

I’m trying to work out whether he wants to be a footballer or an athlete. The speed of those legs, he would put ol’ twinkle toes Cristiano Ronaldo or Jamaica’s Usain Bolt to shame….

Both feet!!

Both feet!!

The first message

It’s great having a Blackberry. It means I was able to take photos and email them out to people literally hours after Baby A was born. This is the very first message I sent out when he arrived:

“Hi everyone,

I just wanted to let you all know that as at 2.56am I am officially a father. I thought I had a few more weeks to go but he obviously wants to start playing football early!

My wife and the baby are both doing well. Typical boy, he’s eaten and is taking a nap! “

Actually, I can’t wait until he grows up enough to play footie with me, although I don’t think I’ll be sending him to Cristiano Ronaldo’s skills workshop:
